As a yoga teacher, personal trainer, nutrition coach and mom of two I feel like I am constantly in motion. I am sure most people today can relate. We all move but some of our most significant movements may not seem so obvious. Outwardly the human form takes many shapes and sizes. Each of us do varying types and levels of physical activity, but it is our inner movements we can sometimes be unaware of. The way we think, our actions, and our interactions are the undercurrent of our life. Originally I found yoga with the intention of the physicality, but quickly realized the mental and emotional benefits. Yoga opened up my awareness to the connection between my inner and outer world. I discovered no matter your physical form or how you move on your mat, the migration towards the best version of yourself is the most profound movement one can make. When I teach classes, I like to think of myself as a yoga facilitator by creating a safe environment for students to explore their own movement. Each class is a blend of vinyasa flow, alignment principles, music and breath awareness.
