Yoga not only provides a physical exercise, but a discovery of self that I am grateful to continually learn and share.
When I moved to Norwalk in 2014, I searched for yoga studios near me and decided to try SYJ because they offered teacher training. I wasn’t confident enough to share my interest, but I wanted to keep it a possibility. I quickly fell in love with the studio and my new found kula (community). SYJ made Norwalk feel like home for me.
As my practice developed I noticed the mental benefits yoga provided. I realized it’s not selfish to love yourself and to let go of what doesn’t serve you. Don’t we all just want to feel good?
My classes are soulful, mindful, vigorous, and complete with a dynamic soundtrack. It’s all about the breath paired with healthy alignment- the perfect ingredients to presence.
As an artist I am drawn to teach art; as a yogi I am drawn to teach yoga. Sharing what continues to help me live fully, authentically, and lovingly is truly humbling.
