Yoga has been an essential part of my life for many years. When I step on my mat I am a better version of myself. I breathe and move as a greater sum of the everyday parts of me. It is this feeling that I have striven to share as a yoga teacher. Body, mind and spirit coalesce in a dance that is held together by the breath.
Originally a dancer, I came to yoga after motherhood and found it suited my body and my spirit. It has helped ground and shape me. My passion for yoga brought me to teaching and I find I learn as much from my students as they learn from me.
I have been teaching yoga for more than fifteen years and am also a Licensed Massage Therapist. The body and its healing powers are integral to health and healing and yoga is a wonderful way to be healthy. As a teacher I am attentive to the details of the poses and the ways in which each student’s body and expression is unique. Come play, move and breathe and find your better self.
