My friends always laugh because whatever ails anybody, mentally or physically, I always respond, “they should really try yoga” and I really mean it.

Whatever brings you to your matt, whether it be the physical or the spiritual, there are so many ways that it can heal, uplift and help you celebrate both your uniqueness and your sense of belonging.

I found yoga 12 years ago after developing constant injuries from high impact sports such as running and cross training and it has transformed into a passion I love to share both on and off the matt.

After being a dedicated practitioner for many years, I decided to take Saraswati’s first 200 hr yoga training course offered in 2005 to deepen my practice and my understanding of the philosophy.  After teaching for a few years, I realized that as with most things, the more your know, the more you realize there is to learn and thus completed the 500 hr teacher training course at Saraswati’s in 2011.

On our matts and in our lives we are always learning and growing into our best selves and hopefully encouraging others to do the same. My classes seek to inspire and challenge students both physically and mentally while keeping it accessible, compassionate and playful.  Special attention is given to alignment and modifications will be offered to keep the practice safe so your body and hearts feel open and free.
