I began my practice in 1998 at Shambava Ananda yoga ashram outside of Boulder, Colorado. The practice was challenging yet nurturing and it was this combination of love and growth that brought me to my best and my most vulnerable self. I began to heal in my body and my soul. Yoga is a touchstone for my healing from deep trauma to the day to day challenges of life. I teach a class that includes the ancient principles of yoga philosophy and blends with it the movement of a playful practice. My class offers options for everyone from beginners to seasoned yogis. Most of all I encourage laughter and vulnerability. As one of my teachers once said, “Yoga allows me to completely fall apart and come back together again in a new way.”
