I am a C-IAYT certified Yoga therapist specializing in yoga, meditation and mindfulness as a pathway to healing. Yoga is not solely a physical practice it is also a profound tool for nurturing mental health.
My training and qualifications include:
Masters degree in Counseling and Consulting Psychology and advanced training in neuropsychology and twenty-three years working as a school psychologist and psychotherapist.I’m a Certified Yoga Therapist through the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) (2016), Oncology Yoga (2011) , Yoga Nidra through Ishta Yoga ( 2018) Restorative Yoga with Jillian Pransky (2010), Trauma Sensitive Yoga (2019), Yin Yoga 2018, and Kripalu Yoga RYT 200 hours (2008).I’ve been teaching yoga and therapeutically based yoga with individuals and groups for fifteen years. As I get older I find my body and mind need yoga more. Physically yoga helps to keep me supple and strong. And mentally and emotionally it helps me be more resilient and balanced.
