A lifelong athlete, I initially came to yoga for the physicality of the practice. What I hadn’t expected was the sense of calm that sneaks in when you commit to being truly present, breath by breath.
My classes are grounded in functional anatomy and combine super healthy alignment with dynamic sequencing to explore the “why” and the “how” behind our movements. There are opportunities to up the ante — balancing on heads and hands! — as well as moments to surrender, all highlighted by a soulful soundtrack. And probably some laughter!
You’ll leave your mat having bridged the gap between body and mind, and with that sweet post-class sense of calm.
I’m a forever student: making time for my own practice makes me the best version of myself out in the world. When I’m not teaching, you can find me on my mat moving and breathing alongside the rest of our fabulous kula!
